Marble completes the last of our trio we bought from Abergavenny. One of the reasons we chose her was not only did we think she was nicely put together, she is very correct with a super natural flat back. But also her fleece had a lovely marble effect, and yes that’s how we named her too! Marble is huge, she is just so much bigger, she is as wide as she is tall as she is long, so great attributes as a breeding ewe. It is my intention to produce their fleeces into wool and garments so I am looking forward to using Marbles fleece in particular for this with her multi-colours.
Marble’s first lamb is Smeafield Xowie who we are really pleased with and he was our first born lamb, he won his first class at his first show, and has already had great comments and praise. I will breed Marble with Greenfield Pendragon again this year as it was such a successful cross already.
